Challenge #398

Good Morning crafty friends!

Welcome back for another Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge!

This weeks challenge is:
Anything Goes #398

This weeks image is from Star Stampz. With fall just around the corner, the next thing you know it will be winter. And I made a quick CAS card using this adorable image. I knew the paper I wanted to use, so I made sure to color my image to accent the DP. I also found just the right sentiment to go with it as well!

LMMS

Hi there LMMS friends!
Bring on fall!!!

Hope you are all doing well. Just the other day, my mother, myself and my grandson were at Costco. And of course they have all the Halloween costumes out. Last year Noah went as Spider-Man. So I asked him what he wanted to go as this year. And he said Spider-Man. I said are you sure? You did that last year. And he insisted that he wanted the Spider-Man costume and proceeded to put it in my cart. What a lil ham! So needless to say we left Costco with the Spider-Man costume..lol.

Anyway - this weeks card is an adorable lil guy all dressed up for Halloween. When I seen this image - I just knew I had to have it. I LOVE fall and Halloween. And this cute lil guy all dressed up was to hard to pass by! Hope you like it :)

Paper: the Paper Studio Happy Haunting
Color Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers dies, Hampton Art stamps (sentiment), Wink of Stella Clear

I went with a CAS card as I didn't want to distract from this adorable image.

LMMS

Happy September LMMS friends!!

Since the last time we 'talked' - the kids are back in school, the leaving are starting to changes colors, and cooler temps. Ahhhh - I LOVE FALL! So that is my inspiration for this weeks card!

I love the fall colors and I used those along with the Harvest insert for the Pick-Me-Up truck image. I had so much fun coloring this one. It's hard to see but I put glossy accents on the tail lights and added a little sparkle to the bumper sticker :)

Paper: the Paper Studio Happy Haunting, DCWV textured Jewels matstack
Color medium: Copics
Other Supplies: American crafts twine in Cocoa, Your Next Stamps Gumdrops, Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella Clear

I wish I was better at doing backgrounds. I would have loved to have made a autumn looking sky. I will keep practicing - someday maybe!!

Make sure you check out all the wonderful images @ LMMS!

Challenge #396

Hi crafty friends!!!
Welcome back for another
This weeks challenge is:
Challenge #396
Anything Goes

This weeks image is from Imagine That Digistamps - a family-friendly shop, started by mother & daughter who just love to doodle and love to make paper crafts!  Their pencil drawings are scanned into the computer, made digital, and then colored in Photoshop to offer you both an Outline version for those who love to color, as well as a Colored version for insanely quick & easy crafting!!

I choose to work with the colored image as with this past long weekend, couple of days of work, and preparing for my rummage sale I have quite a bit going on!! But I will for sure be coloring this one up soon :) With her Christmas bags in hand - I went w/the red & green colors of Christmas. I hope you like how it turned out.

Fun w/LMMS

Hello LMMS friends!
Glad you could stop by today.

I first have to apologize as I thought I had posted last weeks card. Things have been so busy this summer. With being short handed at work and then on top of that people taking vacations. Plus everyday life - this summer has just flown by! I can't believe it's Labor Day weekend already  :(

Anyway, I will share both cards today!.

For this weeks card I made an attempt at merging 2 separate images. While both images are great on their own, I thought it would be nice to use them together. I hope you like how it turned out.

Paper: Doodlebug Design-Kitten Smitten
Color Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Recollections enamel dots, Doodlebug Designs twine, Wink of Stella Clear & Yellow

And I had so much fun with last weeks card. Aside from the frigid cold temps - winter is my 2nd favorite season. And making snow angels is so much fun. And this image is just adorable!!

Paper: Bo Bunny Altitude Collection
Color Medium:  Copics
Other Supplies: Lawn Fawn Stitched Scalloped Circle die, Fiskars Small Snowflake punch, Martha Stewart Artic Snowflake punch, Wink of Stella Clear & Silver

Well, I hope you all have a safe and fun long Labor Day weekend!
Make sure you check out all the wonderful images @ LMMS!
