LMMS - Roxie

Welcome LMMS friends!!

Hope you all are having a wonderful day :)

This week I am here to share another great image from LMMS.
We are going to be right in the middle of a heat wave again this weekend.
With highs of 90 degrees and a Heat Index of 100-105 it's going to be long, hot weekend.

So I thought this image would be perfect. Roxie is all ready for the beach! What's better then the beach on a hot summer day! I am still "playing" with creating backgrounds. And for some reason - the sky and clouds just always seem to 'kick my butt'. But I did my best to create a nice beach scene.

Then her fairy Godmother comes along and makes her dream of going to the ball possible. But then, Cinderella is leaving the ball and her shoe behind! Oh no.....will she ever find her prince?

LMMS - CLBR8

HELLO HELLO HELLO
crafty LMMS friends!!

Back to share some more goodies!!
If you checked out my blog last week - you saw that I totally adore these new Pick Me Up truck images! This truck comes by itself or it has 5 other images that can be merged with it to create some great other images.

And of course with the 4th of July just around the corner - I couldn't wait to play with this one!! While I was out shopping on my day off I went to the craft store. Well......$90 dollars later I came home with some great supplies, dies, Copics and paper!

I know I always tell myself "You DON'T need more paper".
But I knew that I had this image colored up and I happened across this AWESOME paper!!!

I hope you like it as much as I do  :)

Image: Pick Me Up Truck
Paper: Doodlebug Design Yankee Doodle
Color Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Spellbinders Celebrations Pierced Circle dies, KaiserCraft Nesting Pennant dies, QuicKutz circle dies, Small corner rounder, Stamp of Life hippo2stamp (let's celebrate), Stamps of Life Zig Zag Bag (stars), Stamps of Life banner die, Memento Tuxedo black ink, Distress Ink Old Paper

When I first started card making I was like you can't put checkers together with paisley. I always thought you had to have similar patterns to make it look good. But I have come to like how some of these different patterns mix and mesh well together.

Challenge #385

HEY crafty friends!

Here is this weeks post for

This weeks challenge is:
Challenge # 385
Anything Goes

This weeks image is from Scrap N' Dipity. And this was a quick fun card to make. So many options on this one - I decided she was like saying "HELLO" on this CAS card. At the very end I had a little mishap with my Wink of Stella. As I was applying it to the collar of her shirt, all of a sudden it just "plopped" a big drop of the product onto the image. I quickly grabbed a Kleenex and tried to blot it as best as I could.  Now that it is dried you really have to look hard to see it....WHEW!!!

Hope you like it :)

LMMS - Davor

Howdy LMMS friends!!

Welcome back for some more great inspiration !

At first I was "shying" away from coloring this newest Polka Dot Pals Davor. Not quite sure why - but I am so glad I 'forced' myself to do it. I still have ALOT to learn about coloring with my Copic markers, but I think is one of my best colorings to date! I am SO happy with how it turned out!

I borrowed a little inspiration from fellow teamies Vanessa and Kathy.
I have always loved Kathy's coloring talents. And Vanessa's creating of the background in her use of this image is wonderful! Although my grass and sky don't compare! But I think it turned out pretty good!

I hope you like it!

Challenge #382

Hi there crafty friends!
Here is this weeks post for

This weeks challenge is:
Challenge # 382
Anything Goes

Sorry if it seems I was "AWOL" last week, but was having some issues with getting my images, computer problems, etc. Plus the holiday weekend. And then - this week image was a little late getting to me as well. But I have ironed out the wrinkles and I am back with this week post (be it a little late)

This weeks image is from All Dressed Up. And with the school year coming to close, this would make a great card for that Number 1 teacher!! I found some 'school' stamps I had laying around and randomly stamped them across the page. To kind of look like a paper you would doodle on in school.

Hope you like it!!!
