Exciting News!!!!

Hello crafty friends!

I have some wonderful news!
I have been asked to guest design for
(Insert Happy Dance)

Myself and few of my friends that were on the DT @ From The Heart Stamps have been asked to guest design for the next 6 months! I was beyond thrilled to have the chance to design for them :)

There are so many awesome images - it was hard to decide where to start.
But as soon as I seen this lil guy I just knew what I wanted to do. This I believe is one of my first times creating one of my own backgrounds w/Distress Inks. I used a couple different colors and then took some water and "splashed" it across my paper. Once it dried I thought it kind of looked like the Milky Way and stars! I then used my Stamp Perfect and place my stars, and swirls in white across my background. I had so much fun!

So without further ado.........my 1st LMMS card!

I fussy cut the image and popped him up on an action wobble -EEK!!
Here is a peek of the wobble in action :)

I know it's a little hard to see - but he wobbles like crazy!!!

List of supplies:

Color Medium: Copics
Paper: White and black card stock
Other Supplies: DewDrop Brilliance White ink, Distress Ink - Peacock Feather, Tumbled Glass & Chipped Sapphire, Cuttlebug Spot & Dots embossing folder, Quickutz nesting circles dies, Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella Clear, Imagine Crafts Sheer Shimmer spritz - Sparkle, Action wobble, Webster Pages Dream Color enamel stars

Challenge #377

Happy Hump Day!!!

It's time for another
This weeks challenge is:
Challenge # 377
Anything Goes

This weeks image is from Time for Tea Designs. I believe this is my first time using an image from a Time for Tea Designs. The image actually comes with a blank banner that you can decorate anyway you want. I decided to do a Happy Birthday to You banner :)

We are finally seeing some color around here after our record breaking snowfall 2 weekends ago. I can't wait for all the spring flowers to start blooming and the trees to bud out!  That's what inspired me for the colors of this card.

I hope you like it!!

Challenge #376

HELLO crafty friends!!!

It's time for another
This weeks challenge is:
Challenge # 376
Anything Goes

This weeks image is from Delicious Doodles. Here in the Midwest - we had a record snowfall this past weekend. The most snow in 130 years!! On Friday it started out with sleet and rain, turned into snow later that night. By Saturday we had a blizzard, with 50+ mph winds and whiteout conditions with a foot of snow. And Sunday brought another 12" - leaving our grand total by Sunday night at 24.2 inches! This snow caused major closures and even some buildings in our area had roof collapses. Thankfully no one was hurt. And in true Wisconsin spirit it was neighbor helping neighbor to dig out of this mess.

Thankfully I had vacation - a 4 day weekend with Friday & Monday off. So I didn't have to venture out in storm. So, when I was making this weeks card I was like - boy I can't wait for spring and the flowers to start blooming! I kept it CAS and I hope you like it :)

Challenge #375

Wednesday & time for another
This weeks challenge is:
Challenge # 375
Anything Goes

This weeks image is from Little Blue Button Stamps. Not sure about you, but I am so ready for spring. Just about the time we think we are getting warmer weather - Mother Nature says no way!!! The only good thing is the snow doesn't stick around too long.

I couldn't resist this little cutie! She made me think of spring and all the flowers that will be blooming! It's hard to see, but I put Glossy Accents on her boots to make them look like shiny rain/garden boots :) I also didn't realize until after I took the picture - but her gloves and the DP strip match! And no I did not plan that! Hope you like it!!

This weeks image is from Sparkle N Sprinkle. I had so much fun with this image that I created 2 cards!! When I was younger I really didn't care for coffee. I always loved the smell, but not the bitter taste. Well....Hello Starbucks! That has changed my mind on coffee.  The possibilities with his set are endless!!

Hope you like the 2 I have made  :)
