I got you use this wonderful image from Lemon Shortbread. I graduated high school in 86', so I am totally a 80's girl. But at the same time I could picture my oldest granddaughter 'dressing up'. That's why when I saw this sentiment I thought of her.

I decided to make a shaped card this week. I had some leftover scalloped shaped cards that I bought at a sale at the Paper Cut. And I thought this image was perfect for a "Hi, how are you" kind of card.

FTHS Weekly Inspiration

Hello again!

I had originally meant for this to be a mid-month reminder post, but my husband's grandmother passed away on Sunday. She would have been 96 today.

 

But....instead I am now taking care of 2 reminders

1) Mid month SOTM reminder for Prickles

2) Sketch #112 challenge

 

When I saw this new image from Faith I couldn't wait to color it up! He is just so gosh darn cute in his lil glasses! When I saw this image I knew which paper pack of mine I wanted to work with on it. The Green Stack 70% recycled stack is very "woodsy" and outdoors like and fit this image so perfectly!

I got the honors because of my Summer Fun card

 

This was actually my 4th attempt at coloring this wonderful image from Lacy Sunshine. Believe it or not, I was 3/4 of the way thru coloring on my image and my Copics "inked" all over my image.

 

HOW FRUSTRATING!!

 

The first 2 times is was one of my blue markers, then a gray one - UGH!!

But, being chosen makes it all worth while :)

 

YAY!!!
