Challenge #225 @ Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge

Welcome back for my 2nd post as a DT member at
Penny' Paper-Crafty Challenge.

This weeks challenge #225 is
Anything but a Square

One of our wonderful sponsors this week is Bugaboo stamps.
I just love Bugaboo stamps. There is something for everybody.

The image I got to work with is Kidz Flower Basket.
Isn't she just adorable!?!

I am also using the current sketch over at From The Heart Stamps as well.

I had originally started off making her w/brown hair, etc. But I really wanted to use the paper from one of my paper packs which had more blacks in it. I believe this my 1st time trying to color an image with black hair. As I usually opt to color brown or blonde hair. I have a lot of learning to do yet w/my Copics, but I think it turned out pretty well.

From The Heart Stamps Inspiration

Hi everyone!

Glad you could join me for another inspirational post at From The Heart Stamps. I have a two'fer today.....lol. I used the weekly sketch #106 along with the SOTM.

Current sketch # 106

April SOTM
And here is my creation :) I am really loving the PigWit images right now. I haven't decided on how I want to use this card yet. Happy Birthday, Just because...etc so I left it blank for now. On last weeks post, I colored him more pink. I decided with the DP I was using this week to leave him more of a 'skin' color.

My girlfriends & I went to a Scrapbook Expo last week.  And all I have to say is it was 'dangerous'. Everywhere we turned, we were like OMG, that is cute, OMG that is so cool. But we had a great day, lots of laughs and put a dent in our checkbooks :) I really like these new stitched dies they are coming out with. They are so much fun!!

Well, hope you enjoyed my card. Now go out and create!!

Thanks
Michelle

Winner!!!

WHOOT!!!

My card won over at Fab 'n' Funky for their Bingo Challenge.

Way to Go!!!!

Thanks for stopping by for another weekly inspiration post for

Today, I used one of Faith's newer images - PigWit Cheer!
Isn't he just adorable :) As soon as I seen him, I just had to have him.

Living in Wisconsin, we are all HUGE Packers fans! And I thought this would be great colored up in the Packers green and gold. It's hard to see but behind PigWit is paper that look and feels almost like a football!
And I added some sparkle to the pom poms, but it's kind of hard to see at this angle.

Paper: Reminisce Real Sports-Football, Scrappin' Sports & More Green Bay Packers
Coloring Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Gelly Roll Clear Star pen, Spellbinders Classics Square Small die

Hope you were inspired !! Don't forget to join us for our weekly sketch challenge.
Now go out there and let's see what you create!!

It was sure great seeing all the Easter & spring inspired cards from the DT.

Not sure about you, but I can't wait for spring to be in full bloom!
Things are slowly starting to bud around here, but the days still remain cool yet so. Hopefully we can enjoy some great weather soon!

 Here is the current Sketch

Here is my card

It was funny (at least to me) that I found some great DP in my Miss Caroline Fiddlesticks pack from My Minds Eye. I was like....hmm masculine papers. And this stack just happened to be laying on my table. And I was like let's see! I really like the plaid on the 'banner' part. Along with the woodgrain and stripes. And of course - what man doesn't like a cold beer! I think is came together quite nicely!

I hope you can join us for our weekly challenge. We would love for you to stop by and share your creations with us!

Bye !
