i {heart} sketches 42

Welcome back for this weeks i {heart} sketches challenge!

I went 'outside my comfort zone' in coloring this image. I love my Gamsol and colored pencils, but have a bunch of markers laying around that I just never seem to use. So, I thought I would give my Memento markers a try this time. The Gamsol is a little more forgiving in blending the colors - at least I think. I always seem to go 'too far' when coloring w/my markers. So I hope you like it :)

Image: FTHS Holly Jolly Christmas

  2. This card is so pretty and very cute Michelle. Your colouring is lovely and I really like how you have layered the circles because it really makes your delightful image very focal. Your ribbon and backing paper look 'made for each other'. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)
