Hi friends !!

Thank you to everyone who played along with us last week!  We at FTHS enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing your wonderful creations!

I wanted to make a bright & cheery card! One that made me think of spring :) I also used the current sketch challenge that is going on right now.

I hope you like it!

Midweek Inspiration @ FTHS

Happy Hump Day crafty friends!!

Welcome to another Midweek Inspiration post at From The Heart Stamps.

Not sure about you, but I am really ready for spring to get here.
BUT, I just couldn't help using another one of Faith's ADORABLE snowmen images.

This is Flurry! This snowman is perfect for Birthday wishes, Valentine's Day, or any other winter occasion.  Your download includes 2 images, a color reference, and five bonus sentiments. And the best part -
you can get it for $1.00!! Yep, it's no typo! For less than a 20oz soda - you could have tons of fun creating with this little guy :)

Here is my inspiration for the week:

Sketch Challenge #117 @ FTHS

Hi everyone!
Second post of the day :)

FTHS is now back to our weekly sketch challenge! YAY!

And here is this weeks sketch & twist:
And here is my take on it!
Image: Birthday Pup
Paper: White card stock, Bo Bunny Double Dot Design, Colorbok Hootenanny
Coloring Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle stackable die, Smooch Glitz Frost, ek Success scalloped heart punch

The twist is LOTS of white! Which was a little 'hard' for me as I was wanting to 'fill' up all the white space with something...LOL. I also 'twisted' the sketch horizontally vs vertically. I think this gave me a little more room to play with. I didn't use a sentiment as I wasn't quite sure which one I wanted to use, so I left it blank for now.

I hope you can join us for our weekly challenge!
EVERYONE who enters will receive $1 to From the Heart Stamps.
Use it as a Discount or save them up to earn a free stamp.
Linky will close on Sunday, 13th September at 10PM CST

Bye for now!!

Mid-Week Inspiration @ FTHS

Thanks for stopping by to check out our Mid-week inspiration @ FTHS!

Not sure about you, but Halloween is my favorite holiday. Not sure because it's close to my birthday or not - but I love it. So I knew I just had to have this lil guy!! I am also using the current sketch along with the twist as well.

Paper: Debbie Mumm Harvest & Holiday
Coloring Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Spellbinders Celebrations Pierced Circles die, Smooch Pearlized Illuminate Top Coat, Sequins

Don't forget we also have our SOTM challenge going on as well.

Faith has another wonderful challenge going on as well. She has a personal project to Design 100 Snowman! She has created a separate Project 100 category under the Snowmen category in the store because these will each be available for just $1 until her project is complete. There’s not really supposed to be a set time for her completion, but she has set a goal to complete it by Christmas. Some images may contain more than one snowmen, so there may not be 100 total individual illustrations, but there will be 100 snowmen.

Lots of fun things happening @ From The Heart Stamps!
Make sure you check it all out!

Bye for now!

FTHS Weekly Inspiration

Hello again!
2nd post of the day :)

Welcome to our weekly inspiration post @ From The Heart Stamps.
I had originally meant for this to be a mid-month reminder post, but my husband's grandmother passed away on Sunday. She would have been 96 today.

But....instead I am now taking care of 2 reminders
1) Mid month SOTM reminder for Prickles

When I saw this new image from Faith I couldn't wait to color it up! He is just so gosh darn cute in his lil glasses! When I saw this image I knew which paper pack of mine I wanted to work with on it. The Green Stack 70% recycled stack is very "woodsy" and outdoors like and fit this image so perfectly!

Coloring Medium: Copics, Gelly Roll Clear Star pen, atyou Spica Pen 05 Lemon
Other Supplies: Glossy Accents for his glasses, Stampendous "have a great day" stamp, Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables

Now remember - for summer our challenges will run for 2 weeks. So you have until June 29th to join us. We hope you can because we would love to see what you make!

Thanks for stopping by!

Weekly Inspiration @ FTHS

Hi everyone!! My 2nd post of the day :)

Here is my inspiration for this week. Don't you just LOVE these birdbrains?
I used Party Hat Birdbrain and I had some paper in mind while coloring him. I think he looks like he needs a big hug....LOL.

I hope you get a chance to stop by and join our weekly sketch challenge @ FTHS as well. Plus, the new SOTM has been released. It is so perfect for this time of the year. Spring and all the birds are coming back. "Our" yellow finches are back as well as our Baltimore Orioles. I have my orange jelly out and he has been 'nibbling' at it. I just wish he would stay longer so I can get a nice picture of him.

Thanks for stopping by!!

From The Heart Stamps Inspiration

Hi everyone!

Glad you could join me for another inspirational post at From The Heart Stamps. I have a two'fer today.....lol. I used the weekly sketch #106 along with the SOTM.

Current sketch # 106

April SOTM
And here is my creation :) I am really loving the PigWit images right now. I haven't decided on how I want to use this card yet. Happy Birthday, Just because...etc so I left it blank for now. On last weeks post, I colored him more pink. I decided with the DP I was using this week to leave him more of a 'skin' color.

My girlfriends & I went to a Scrapbook Expo last week.  And all I have to say is it was 'dangerous'. Everywhere we turned, we were like OMG, that is cute, OMG that is so cool. But we had a great day, lots of laughs and put a dent in our checkbooks :) I really like these new stitched dies they are coming out with. They are so much fun!!

Well, hope you enjoyed my card. Now go out and create!!

Thanks

Let's celebrate & be inpsired as well

This week is our 100th sketch @ From The Heart Stamps!!!!

Wahoo!!!!  (Technically it’s #101 but, who’s counting!!)  So we have an amazing prize prepared for you!!!  This week we will be selecting and awarding 10 participants from this weeks challenge to receive
$10.00 gift vouchers!!!  YEAH!!!

I find it - for lack of a better word - hard sometimes to make a CAS card. I am always wanting to embellish more, or add lots of layers, etc. But this past weekend, I was at a weekend scrapping retreat w/my girlfriends. And I can't believe how "fast" I came up with this one. I think it was Saturday afternoon or so when I got around to making this card. After doing other numerous cards and a couple of layouts, it just came together in no time.  I was inspired by seeing a few others projects at the retreat as well.

Hope you like it!!

I hope you can join us this week. You just might be one of the lucky 10 winners!! Can't win if you don't play!!

Lions, and tigers and MONSTERS..........OH MY!!!

Hi everyone!!
I hope you got a chance to take in our DT blog hop last week!

My post this week has one of Faith's newer images Monster Sundae!
I knew as soon as I seen him, I wanted to make a card for my oldest granddaughter. I call her my "Mini Me" and I know she would just LOVE this lil guy !!

I created my own background paper. I used some scrap I had, but it just needed a little something more. So, I took one of the smaller hearts from my Hero Arts Sweet Hearts stamp set and stamped the hearts.

I think is turned out kinda cute!!

A close up :)

From the Heart Stamps Inspiration

Hi everyone - back for another weekly challenge and inspiration post!

I had so much fun coloring this lil guy. I use to be so afraid to use my couple of Copics that I had originally. At first I found them a bit intimidating and just gave up for awhile. Then I decided to give them another try. After a lot of playing I was starting to get better, but wasn't just quite there. Coloring NUMEROUS images before I actually had one that I "sorta" liked.

Since then, I have taken a Copic beginners class and am really starting to feel more at ease w/the Copics. I am still not perfect at it, but I have come along way.

This weeks sketch

Hope you join us for our weekly challenge.

Weekly Inspiration @ From The Heart Stamps

Thanks for joining us again for another weekly inspiration post at

Not sure about you, but up here in WI we have had a "weird" winter. We actually had no snow for Christmas, but snow for Thanksgiving. Only 3 "named" snowstorms (more than 3" of accumulation) and warm & frigid temps.

That's why I thought this image would be cute for a card this week!
You just never know what winter is going to bring!

Hi everyone and Happy New Year!!!
Hope you and yours had a wonderful holiday season.

Our team has been busy getting back into the groove of things to get you going for an exciting 2015 at From The Heart Stamps.

My Card this week covers a couple of things:
 Sketch 92

AND
Stamp of the Month

Stamp Preview by FromTheHeartStamps

Its kind of hard to see, but the layer underneath the brown is actually a textured paper. And I got 2 of the 4 colors in the colors as well!

And who could resist this cute lil guy!!! If you joined the challenge in December, you will receive Little Snowman via email. If you missed out, you can still play along with the challenge by purchasing the image. Then you can enter the challenge and receive next month’s digi free. OR if you spend $10 in the From The Heart Stamps store this month, you can enter code #letitsnow to receive Little Snowman as a free gift.

Happy October and Weekly inspiration post

Hi everyone - Happy October!!
This is such a BUSY month for me.

On Thursday I leave to go to Vegas for 6 days for a friends wedding.
I have 6 birthdays + 2 co-workers birthdays, my 22nd wedding anniversary and my birthday....WOW!

Here is my inspirational post for this week

And a close up of the image
Image: Flappy Birthday
Paper: Brown card stock, Simple Stories Vintage Bliss
Coloring Medium: Copics
Other Supplies: Prima Flowers, Glossy Accents, Spellbinders Labels Three, Smooch Pearlized Topcoat Illuminate, atyou Spica marker 03 Red, Recollections pearls

I just LOVE these Birdbrains!! Faith has them in so many great 'situations'.

My girlfriends and I took a Copic class this past week and really learned a lot! I think now that we know so much more about them, how to and not to use them, the number system, etc we will all get so much better at using them. I have found a nice blue and yellow combo for my birds, but I have always wanted to do a purple one (my fav color). So I gave it a try....it's getting there :)

Don't forget to stop back on Friday for our October blog hop.
This months theme is : Think Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness. This is near and dear to me having lost my maternal grandmother at age 56 to this.

Well.....on to finish packing or I won't be going to Vegas...LOL.

Thanks for stopping by!!
Michelle
