Back from break

Hi everyone - the DT at From The Heart Stamps is back from our summer break!!

 

We are back for another i {heart} sketches challenge. Check out the blog for more details.

For the remainder of this summer, challenges will run for two weeks instead of one!

Summer Break

The design team at  “From the Heart” is taking a small summer break

July 14 to July 27

 

In summer everyone is always quite busy, needs time for the family, is away on vacation or just needs some time to breathe.

 

From July 14 to July 27, there will be no activity on the blog.

 

The current Sketch Challenge # 74 is open until July 27th.

This way, everyone gets a little break and has enough time to participate.

 

 

After the summer break, we will be back on July 28  with a new

i {heart} Sketches with a tWiST challenge.

 

And as the summer is not yet over, and everyone is still busy, our challenge will be held every second week beginning July 28.

In September - we switch back to weekly.

 

Enjoy your summer time activities, and we hope to see you back here on July 28th!!

Weekly Inspiration @ FTHS

Welcome back for another inspirational post @ FTHS.

Recently, I been feeling a little 'uninspired' if you will about creating cards. In a slump you could say - Pinterest to the rescue!

 

I found this adorable card where the gal created the card - but didn't color the image. Why not let the child color the image? How fun is that?

 

My wonderful friend recently had a Golden Birthday party for her kids. And when I saw this image - I immediately thought of "Ms. Ava" (that's what I like to call her). I made the image slightly bigger, then I normally do, so she has plenty of room to color it in.

 

I included the 'basis' colors - yellow for the bird, orange for the beak, red for the flowers and of course - a pink glitter crayon! Don't you just LOVE it!!

Weekly Inspiration w/FTHS

Hi everyone!! 

I hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day. I will get to see my dad along with my son & grandkids this coming weekend!! Can't wait :)

 

I just HAD to get this new image right away. Both my father in law and step father in law love to fish. But my hubby's stepfather really LOVES to fish and I knew this would make a great Father's Day card for him.

 

Isn't he just ADORABLE?!?
