Welcome to my 2nd post of the day!
Are you ready for some inspiration?
I always find sympathy cards a difficult thing to do. Because they are for such a somber moment in time. And when I seen this weeks twist of "Easy does it" - I was trying to think of how to 'play on it'. For me personally, I think sympathy cards should be simply stated, not over the top with lots and lots of embellishments. And sometimes - sentiments can be just as powerful as an image.
With Faith's image Time to Bloom - it includes three images: main image of flowers and pocket watch, flower corner accent image, and butterfly, and six bonus sentiments. There are numerous ways this can be used. And to me - just the statement simply stated and a couple of butterflies I thought would be fitting for a sympathy card.
I hope you like it. As I cut the images of the butterflies out - I wanted to give them antennas. I thought the twine would make them look 'realistic'. And it's hard to see in the pic - but each of the butterflies has just a light coating of sheer sparkle over the top.
